Deer Hunting

Whitetail Deer that any hunter would be proud to mount on his den wall (or take pictures of which is what I like to do) can be found right in the back yard. Or you can walk to the Hoosier National Forest and the Corps of Engineers wildlife area that surrounds the lake and enjoy bird watching and just being alone in nature. This is a outdoorsman's paradise!

Fishing Patoka Lake

The cabin is located in the woods behind Tony's Marine on Hwy 145 where you can find all your fishing needs, and the Painter Creek Ramp is at the bottom of the hill 500 yards away, you can be on Patoka Lake  in 10 minutes. (8,000 acres of water and a shoreline that is pristine nature.) If you prefer you can take a short through the woods and fish off the bank. Click Here for species that abound in Patoka Lake.
